Will a pool increase the value of my home?

How much work is involved in owning and caring for a swimming pool?

In the past, a lot of effort had to go into maintaining a pool. However, with today’s technology and conveniences, owning a pool or spa is easier than owning a vehicle. Pool chemical testing, maintenance, cleaning, preprogrammed filtration and heating can all be automated. Automatic pool cleaners and various sanitizing devices also make your pool simple to maintain. There are sometimes advertisements promising pools at very low prices. Should I consider this option?

Not Recommended. It’s actually possible to build a pool at a low price. But you should be aware that to build a low cost pool, equipment, structural elements, craftsmanship, and design are all being compromised. Besides ending up with a pool that does not fit your property because of improper design and/or using poor quality construction materials can also put you and your family at risk. How should I decide on the design of my pool?

Each property has it’s own unique features that should be considered when your pool is being designed. So does your family! At your request, we will meet with you at your home to discuss your pool needs and desires. We will ask you how you intend to use your pool. Are you considering a spa? Is exercise important? How about family use? What about the location? Where will your pool look best when viewed from your home? Then we will take that information and help you design the pool of your dreams at no charge. We design our pool layouts to accommodate as much usable deck space as well as pool area to fit your needs.

How long does it take to build a swimming pool?

From the day we dig the hole till you are filling it with water it should take about thirty working days, which is 6 weeks. Remember that from the day you sign the contract other factors have to take place before the pool can be excavated, such as:
• Financing (if applicable)
• Home owners associations
• Marking and finding utilities
• Permits from your city or county
Permits can sometimes hold up the process, it all depends on what city you live in and the time of year. Usually from the time you sign till we start work in your backyard is about 4 weeks. Call today & start building your own backyard paradise!

Are there any additional options available to add to my pool?

Technology is always changing at an unprecedented rate. Swimming pools are no exception. How do we go about filling up our new pool with water?

You simply use your hose, whether you are on city or well water. If you are on city water, you can get a rebate for the sewage part of the water bill related to filling your pool. In other words, you will pay for the water going into your pool, but not the related sewage fees.
